The City Planning Department is available to assist and serve the community. The Planning Department creates zone districts to promote orderly development and preserve property values. A zone classification establishes what uses are permitted on a specific tract of land. Goshen has several different zoning classifications. Check with the Planning Department for the zoning classification of your property.
The Plan Commission normally meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m.
The Board of Zoning Appeals normally meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m.
Both meetings are held in the Council Chambers, Goshen Police and Courts Building, 111 E. Jefferson Street, Goshen, Indiana.
